Idea and product development is an integral part of our DNA, both we founders and the entire team love to challenge the status quo and always develop new solutions. We want to optimize cycling through innovative bike components, set new standards and help to stand out from the crowd through individualization. BORN ON A MOTORCYCLE
The idea for clear grips, was developed with our sister brand Hookie Co. in 2020. The idea today as then, is quite simple: a sticker on the handlebar and the clear handle above. The whole has a unique effect and is reminiscent of frozen liquids, the name "Frozen" and "Freeze" refers to this effect. As a small series and made by hand, the Frozen handle experienced its first revival. After over 200 pairs of handmade handles, it was time for the manufactory to take a step further and expand the market to include the handle. Hookie founded the idea together with Uwe Richter, Nico and Sylvia Müller as Ride Cool GmbH with the label "Freeze Components" from. Initially, the products are only available for the bicycle market, but the demand for motorcycle grips still exists and Freeze Components will also expand its range here in the future and lead back to the birthplace Hookie.
